Romans 8:28
By Pastor Daniel Batarseh
When we face trials, it can be difficult to see God's goodness. Yet Scripture assures us that God works all things together for good for those who love Him.
"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
This verse does not promise that all things are good, but that all things work together for good. There is a profound difference. The painful, the difficult, the seemingly senseless - these are not good in themselves. But in the sovereign hands of our loving God, they are woven together into a tapestry of redemption.
Today, whatever trial you face, remember that it has not escaped God's notice. He is working, even now, to bring about good that you cannot yet see.
