0:05 Father, we thank you. We come before you tonight as your people. And, Lord, we have one request as we boldly approach the throne of grace, that as Jesus is declared, may you send the promised Holy Spirit to exalt him and to bring conviction and comfort, to bring salvation and strength. Lord, may the only person that is seen is your Son, Jesus. May he be the name on every lip.
0:36 May he be the reason that every knee bows. Lord, we ask for your help in this moment. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Can you please open your bibles to Romans chapter 16 verse 25?
0:51 Romans sixteen twenty five. Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages. The apostle Paul, who penned these very words inspired by the Holy Spirit, had many passions, and one of those passions was to see people come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. But Paul was not just driven to see this passion fulfilled. He did not just wanna see souls saved.
1:45 He longed to see the saved strengthened. This man, if you read carefully in the book of Acts, would not only come to a place and preach and see people come to Christ, but we even see in Acts fourteen twenty two that he would go back to those places that he would preach. And it says that he was strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and telling them that through many tribulations, we must enter the kingdom of God. And as this conference is themed, take courage and do not let your hands be weak, here in this verse in Romans, we see that the Holy Spirit through Paul wants to let us know one of the sources for our strength, one of the many sources for our strength concerning our hands and our determination to follow Jesus Christ. And amongst many of the ways we see here that the believer is provided strength through hearing and receiving the declarations of truth from and of the person of Jesus Christ.
2:49 He says here that you are able to be strengthened according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, And I believe it is the latter more than the former that when the people of God understand who their God is, strength comes to them. And I believe that it is quite possible that many of us tonight are weak, weak in our love, weak in our faith, weak in our commitments, merry-go-round Christians, weak in our zeal, weak in our worship, weak in our service, weak in all things because of one thing. We're weak in our perception of who our God is. And we are like that man in Mark eight that Jesus, yes, did touch him once, but his vision was blurred, and he needed another touch. Some of us have vision, but it's fuzzy vision.
3:59 It's blurred vision. You only see the outline. You only have the general understanding, but it has not pierced your heart yet. It has not possessed your soul. He's not the source of your strength when you're weak.
4:12 And Paul says you're able to be strengthened by the preaching of Jesus Christ. And perhaps again, let me say it, perhaps weakness you and I are experiencing is because of our weakness of understanding who Christ is and the fullness of his majesty. I find it amazing. Amongst the many things in the book of Job, all that pain and all that anguish that I'm sure if we were to pile all that we've experienced in our life, we'll not even come near to what Job experienced in one life. And when he came to the place where he so desired to get an answer from God of why he, his servant, a righteous man, suffered so, God did not come and reveal himself to him to give him philosophical answers.
5:05 God did not come in a whirlwind to try to give him reasons for why his servant suffered with so much pain. You know what God did? Declared his own greatness. You read the end of Job carefully, you'll see that what God did was reveal his majesty and his power. And Job closed his mouth and did not utter a word.
5:34 Perhaps there's something concerning our strength even in the midst of suffering when we understand who Jesus Christ is. And tonight, I would like for us to explore and discover the supremacy of Christ, the supremacy of Jesus Christ, how our Lord is far holier, far more powerful, far more majestic, far more brilliant than any being in heaven and on earth and under the earth. And my simple prayer for tonight is this. May the revelation of his supremacy be the source of our strength. Behold his power over all creation.
6:30 Colossians one fifteen to 17. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, where the thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities, all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Before the first man ever took his first step on the earth, before any of the stars were sprinkled in the universe, before any planet was placed in the blackness of space, before any angel sung a note in the choirs of heaven, Jesus was.
7:36 Before any of the rivers found in Genesis gushed forth from Eden, the rivers of Pishon, Gihon, Tigris, and the Euphrates, before the first time the sun ever peeked over the horizon to give the earth light, before the animals were ever named, and before even the birth of day and night itself, Jesus was. And all things that currently exist is due to the fact that there is one who always existed, Christ. He is the cause of all things, and he did not do this with the help of hosts of angelic beings. He did not do this with the inquiry of a finite creature, whether prophet or priest. No.
8:30 He did all of this in his own power, in his own wisdom. You think of this universe and you will realize that it is made up by systems and laws. Systems and laws, organized functions that grant life to be sustained with such molecular precision. And all these things from the solar system to the digestive system, though complex and dynamic, points to order, and order points to a mind, and the mind behind all these things is the mind of Christ. He is the mastermind of all things.
9:09 He is the one who knows the answers to all the things that these scientists are trying to discover today and still cannot find answers. His eyes have glazed the deepest trenches of the oceans where no man could go. He knows the names of the stars where no telescope could ever hope to capture. But we reminded of this, that the same mouth that spoke things into existence is the very same mouth that sustains all things, even the chair that you're sitting on. Hebrews one:three tells us that he upholds the universe by the word of his power.
9:56 He upholds the universe by the word of his power. He provides food for the hungry raven. He's the one that clothes the lilies and flowers with their colors. He is the one that promotes kings and brings down proud rulers. He makes the sun rise on the good and the evil.
10:20 He speaks to storms and they obey immediately. He knows when the mountain goats give birth and he takes care of the young. He fashions babies in their mothers' wombs. He knows and commands lightning to strike at a specific mark and they do so with complete accuracy. And as he does these things, all at the same time, without a sweat on his brow, know this, brother and sister in Christ, that he prays for his brethren with perfect intercession before the Father.
11:03 And he knows every single care in this room. He knows every single thought that you're thinking. He knows every bit of anxiety that you have even this weekend. All of this, not just in this place, all people at all times and he's not overwhelmed one bit. The very reason why everything you and I see, even in this room, is intact and not being chaotically thrown around is because there is one who's controlling it with his very own word.
11:44 Recently saw an interview that CBS held with a theoretical physicist and there was a discovery that this physicist, I guess, came up with and it's not really a discovery. And the discovery is this, or at least a thought. We don't know why we exist or how we are still existing rather. And the reasons behind his argument, why the universe should not exist, are complex. But the conclusion he made is simple enough for all of us to understand.
12:19 Let me quote, One of the greatest mysteries of physics is that we are clueless of understanding why at the beginning of the big bang, there is and there was a slight overabundance of matter over antimatter. The mystery is why do we even exist at all? By rights, we should not even be here. By rights, we should have been disintegrated at the incidence of the Big Bang. And he said this.
12:50 I thought this was kind of cute. There is a Nobel Prize out there if you can figure out how this all works. Can somebody call CBS and give him Colossians one seventeen? He is before all things and in him all things hold together. Somebody should call CVS as well and give that Nobel Prize to Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
13:27 But know this, that he has power over all creation. Not just at the beginning, not just currently, but know this, that he has the right to claim everything to himself, and he will do it one day. Whatever man thinks he has his name on in this life. Whatever he thinks that he possesses. It does not matter if it is a mountain or a golden palace.
13:52 There is a day coming when the Son of God will return and claim every inch of this world. There is a time in which Jesus will come and he will return and he will claim all things and not one person will be able to resist them. No one will dare, no matter how much riches or no matter how much power he thinks he possesses, to be able to look at him in his eyes and say, who gave you the authority to claim all things? It's absurd. Psalms twenty four one tells us this, the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein.
14:34 Behold his power over all creation. Behold the perfection of his morality. First Peter two twenty two, He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. Josh McDowell is a Christian apologist who came to faith by attempting in his younger years to disprove the resurrection and due to the overwhelming evidence, he himself became a Christian. In fact, one day after many hours of studying, he leaned back before he confessed Christ and he actually said these with his own lips, He is risen.
15:11 He is risen. And in the same light, there is a brilliant Hindu philosopher who came to a point where he wanted to disprove the Christian faith because he saw how the gospel was transforming his own people and the masses were coming to Christ. And what he wanted to do was to prepare a book for widespread distribution by studying the weaknesses and the failings of Christ to try to degrade him before his own brethren. And after eleven years of attempting, going through this book, trying to find fault, trying to find error, trying to find inconsistency, trying to find any weakness in his characteristics, he realized that the only conclusion based on what he sees is that Jesus claims who he is, the Son of God, and boldly confessed his own faith in Christ Jesus himself. Consider these almost mind numbing and heart throbbing truths concerning the perfection of Jesus.
16:18 Though the impure meditations of even one man in a month's time would be beyond count, Jesus Christ from the moment of his incarnation to his ascension did not entertain one sinful thought ever. Though exhausted in his earthly ministry, even to the point where he did not have time to eat, Though he was continually threatened by supposedly powerful men, though his own disciples at one point left him in the most soul agonizing time on earth, He did not even murmur one complaint. His mouth was not stained by one complaint, even on his heart for that matter. Jesus Christ did not need a heavenly coal to touch his lips unlike the prophet Isaiah. Jesus Christ never, in one time, ever needed to apologize for a thing that he did or said.
17:29 He never regretted one action. He never looked back and said, I wish I did it differently. He was perfect in his timing. He was perfect in his judgment. He was perfect with the selection of words.
17:39 There was not one thing found at fault with him. Jesus Christ spoke without error. He judged with perfect judgment. His motives were always pure and pleasing to the Father, and his obedience to the Father was never weak. In fact, let's put it this way, Jesus Christ perfectly kept the greatest commandment to love the Lord his God with all of his heart, with all of his soul, with all of his strength, with all of his mind, every single day, twenty four hours, fourteen forty minutes, eighty six thousand four hundred seconds a day, he kept that command without fault.
18:29 Satan tried to trip him. The Pharisees attempted to accuse him. The Sadducees failed to trick him, and the world will always fail to condemn him. If one is humble enough to admit of themselves that there are strong points and there are weaker aspects of their character. He would also admit that he is also improving on those strong points and even the weaker ones at that.
19:04 But as one writer said, Jesus Christ did not have strong points. Because that would imply that he had weak ones. His character is symmetrically perfect. He's not imbalanced. Neither of his attributes contradict one another.
19:29 Nobody would dare to offer Jesus Christ, the Son of God, constructive criticism. He is in no need of improvement. He's perfect. And the holiness of Christ is so brilliant, so overwhelming that one day it will swallow up the moral corruptness of this world. So consuming is the purity of Christ that it must manifest in holy fire.
20:08 Second Thessalonians one seven to nine. When the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord. They will, not might, they will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction away from the presence of the Lord and the glory of his might. He will come in flaming fire. His holiness is so brilliant that Revelation six tells us that there will be kings and rulers.
20:58 That there will be politicians. That there will be rich and poor. That will actually have conversations with the mountains and the rocks. They will see this one, the Lamb of God upon the throne in his wrathful manifestation. And they will flee to the mountains.
21:15 And they will flee to the rocks. And they will say, Fall upon us. Fall upon us. Save us from the one who sits upon the throne, from the wrath of the lamb. Oh, there's a day coming when the holiness of Christ will burst forth through the sky to such a degree that the sinful and the wicked will find greater comfort over mountains towering over them and collapsing upon them than to face the Lamb of God.
21:58 Behold the depths of his humility. Behold the depths of his humility and love. Philippians two:five-eleven. Have this mind among yourselves. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself by taking the form of a servant being born in the likeness of men.
22:41 And having been found in human form, he humbled himself. He humbled himself by becoming obedient. Obedient to the point of death. Even death of all things, even death on a cross. Therefore, God has highly exalted him, has highly exalted him and bestowed upon him the name that is above every name.
23:11 That at the name of Jesus every knee will bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth. And every tongue, every tongue, every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. I'm not too concerned if people don't worship today. They're gonna worship one way or another. I'm not too concerned.
23:42 Yes, my heart is burdened. Yes, I pray for the lost. But so many people think, so many people think that Christ will not receive the glory at the end of all. He will receive the glory at the end of it all. And every tongue, whether they want to or not, will will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
24:00 Whether they do it now and led to the grace of God or they do it when he comes with an iron scepter. And as one preacher said, he will break their kneecaps until they bow and say, You are Lord. You will, you will one day say Jesus Christ is Lord. The only difference is if you say it now, you'll have eternal life with him. If you say it later, you will say it before he cast you into hell forever.
24:32 This Christ, who John testified in his gospel, was the one who was sitting on the throne in Isaiah chapter six. The one high and lifted up, where the train of his robe, it filled the temple. And the seraphim, oh, these creatures, they hid their face. And with two wings they flew, and with the other two wings they they hid their feet. And it was such an atmosphere of holiness that any sinner, no matter what kind of righteous deeds he has done, would suffocate, would suffocate in that kind of atmosphere unless they were atoned for.
25:31 That same Christ, where one of the greatest prophets himself said, my lips are unclean. The lips in the first five chapters that preached for him, those lips were unclean. They were not worthy. They were filthy. And I live amongst a people of unclean lips.
25:55 That's what happens when you stand before this God. Peter had a revelation of his own sinfulness and light when Christ came. I'm a sinful man. Get away from me. That Christ who sat upon that throne was the same Christ who came off of that throne.
26:17 Can you see it? Who came off of that throne and placed himself in the womb of a virgin girl. That same Christ left the courts of heaven to be raised in a no name town named Nazareth. Who was adored in heaven by creatures that if we were to see them in the natural eyes we would fall as though we were dead. Adored by such creatures were rejected by his own people.
26:57 This Christ who sat on his throne, where angels would not dare expose their feet before him, came to a place where he himself washed the feet of his own betrayer. That Christ who is worthy of 10 lives to be lived every second for his name was betrayed and denied even by one of his own followers three times. Yet this Christ, because of the depths of his love, restores him after he denies him three times and uses him to preach and see 3,000 get saved. This Christ who emptied himself, as Philippians says, in order to fill you with himself. Don't you ever dare to think that in light of the suffering of Jesus Christ that at any moment he was a weakling or he was a defeated man.
28:17 Jesus Christ was in full control and had full authority in every stage and step of his suffering. He said in John ten eighteen, no one takes it from me. No one takes my life from me. But I lay it down on my own accord. And I have authority to lay it down and I have the authority to take it up again.
28:49 This charge I've received from my father. Nine chapters later, Pilate said to him, you will not speak to me. Do you not know that I have authority to release you and authority to crucify you? Jesus answered him, wrong, wrong, wrong. You would not have any authority over me at all unless it has been given to you from above.
29:16 John nineteen ten to 11. And when he came to that cross, when he came to that cross and suffered from head to toe, inside and out, He did so with such a posture of heart that it would stagger us. He did so with such a strength, with such control. And Hebrews twelve two tells us, with such joy. That for the joy that was set before him, Hebrews twelve two, He endured the cross.
30:04 Imagine it. He endured the cross. How can this man endure the cross with joy? What was his joy? Surely it was the glory of the Father.
30:17 Surely it was the glory of his name. But I am confident in this in light of the Scripture that part of that joy was knowing that at the end of it all, when those three words would have been declared, it is finished, the possibility for you and I to be reconciled to him would be would be that joy that joy that filled his heart To know that you you would have the way to be reconciled to God. That nothing would be able to hinder you from having an intimate relationship with him and everlasting life at that. That joy drove him. That joy sustained him.
31:04 That joy. He wants you to have joy as well. And he made it possible when he got on that cross. Would you see him there tonight? Oh yes, he's on his throne today, but can we just for a moment see him on that cross?
31:24 Would you see his head? Would you see the thorns that pierced his head? Would you see the blood, that royal precious holy blood that dripped down his face? Would you not consider since he gave up his head for you that you would give your thoughts to him? Would you see his mouth?
31:53 Would you see how parched? Would you see when he said, I thirst? Would you see how dry it was? Would you see all the things that he spoke that gave life unto men and now suffering on the cross? Would you see his mouth?
32:11 And would you, in response to seeing his mouth, would you not give him your praise with yours? Would you never hinder for a moment to give him what he deserves, and that is your song? Would you give him a sanctified tongue? Would you speak to the others that he had died for as well with such grace and mercy? Would you give him your mouth?
32:37 Would you see his hands? The hands that heal the sick, the hands that touch lepers, the hands where mothers would come and say, would you bless my child? The hands in holy zeal who went into the temple and flipped over tables and said, My house shall be called the house of prayer. Would you see those hands? I mean, now, would you see those holy hands pierced on the cross?
33:10 And as you look at those hands, would you look at your own tonight? Would you see your own hands and say, I give you my strength. I give you my efforts. I give you whatever you want me to do with these hands. They're yours.
33:28 Oh, God, they're holy for your name. I will never do what I wanna do with these hands. I will never touch what you would not want me to touch. I will not take what does not belong to me. Oh, Lord, I give you my hands.
33:43 Would you see his eyes? Those eyes that when Peter betrayed him looked at him, and it was enough for a grown man to weep, to run and weep because he saw such compassion and grace and mercy in light of his sin. Would you see those eyes that were moved with compassion? Those eyes that wept with those who wept, those eyes that cried over Jerusalem because of their stubbornness. Would you see those eyes tonight?
34:20 And would you see that these Romans would punch him in the face and tell him, Who prophesied to you? They would blindfold him and hit him in the face. Who did it? Come on, prophesy. Would you see those eyes?
34:36 And now would you look at your own eyes and say, Lord, I give you these eyes. I will not look at a woman with lustful thought. I will not look on my screen what would grieve your heart. You gave your eyes, so I'll give you mine. I will keep my eyes on thy word.
35:04 I will keep my eyes before you. I will not lust over the things of this world. Would you give him your eyes? Oh, would you see his feet? Those precious feet that walked on water.
35:26 Those precious feet. This God in heaven that came to a place where he he needed to learn how to walk as a child, that would trek to go to Samaria. I must go to Samaria for one soul For one soul? Would you see those feet? And now would you see the nail pierced through those feet on a piece of wood?
35:57 Now would you look at your own and say, Lord, I will never go where you don't want me to go. Lord, I give you the rest of my steps in the future. My feet belong to you. Lord, wherever I walk into, I will ask if you wanna come with me. Lord, I will never go to a place that would grieve you.
36:17 You gave me your feet, so I give you mine. Oh, would you look at his back tonight? Would you see the wounds on his back? Would you see tonight the exposed muscles and the exposed nerve endings and the exposed skin scraping on that cross, whipped to the point where he was beyond recognizable as a man. Would you look at his back?
36:53 And now would you think of your own back and tell the Lord, tell the Lord tonight that I will never turn my back on you. You gave me your back And Lord, if everybody else in this conference wants to turn their back on you, I will never turn my back on you. Not in a way like Peter who had self confidence, but that in the same breath you would say, By your grace keep me pure. By your grace keep me holy. By your grace let me say with confidence though none go with me, still I will follow.
37:26 Would you give him your dedication? Would he never ever see your back in this life? But always your face. Always a yes. No hesitation and obedience no matter what the cost is.
37:42 Would you give him your dedication? Who is this King of glory? Who is this marvelous Master? Who is this suffering servant? Behold, he is your God.
38:13 I'm fully aware that there are perhaps some in here that do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Oh, the supremacy of Christ, that deserves a whole weekend conference on its own. It is too exhaustive. There are too many angles to cover. There are too many things to touch on in one message.
38:41 Oh, that your eyes would be open tonight, believer. Believer, are you not strengthened to realize the majesty of your master? Believer, are you not provoked to worship? Believer, in light of the glory of Christ, are all your sufferings eclipsed to a greater degree? In light of all that he's done for you, are you hesitant now?
39:04 More hesitant to give him all of you? What more do you need to see? What more do you need to hear? Non believer, hear this very carefully. This is the most important message that you will ever hear.
39:36 This man that you just heard of, this is not an idea, nor is this one choice among many in which you can surrender your life to. Because there's one thing about Jesus Christ that you need to understand. He is incomparable. He is matchless. He does not give his glory to another, and Jesus Christ is not to be found amongst other categories.
40:07 He fits in his own category. All these other gods that you hear of, and all of this universalist understanding that is pumping in our culture, realize this, that every false god that is declared and even believed by millions will find themselves bowing before this Christ. What will you do with this Jesus? What will you do with this Jesus? What will you do with this Jesus?
40:43 Please answer God tonight, because this Christ that we're speaking of is alive. This Christ that we are declaring tonight is waiting for your decision. This Jesus Christ has already made the move. And now tonight you must make a decision. I grew up in church.
41:00 Does it matter? Well, I believe that he exists historically. So does the devil. Is he is he lord of your life? Is he Lord of your life?
41:18 Have you come to the place in which you said, My allegiance to you is 100%? Have you come to the place where you realized that there is nothing that you can do to attain eternal life and that Christ, as you saw him on that cross, paid every price? That he satisfies the wrath of God? And does that grace believer, rather non believer, does it provoke you to obey? Does it provoke you to say, Here are my days?
41:50 Bible does tell us that if you confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. But second Timothy two nineteen also tells us that those who name the name of Christ must depart from iniquity. Are you ready to repent of your sins tonight? Are you ready to say, I realize that as I saw him there on that cross, it was my sin that placed him there? Are you ready to renounce your sins tonight?
42:25 Are you ready to say that today, this day, I will walk with Jesus? Here's the instruction: Repent and believe. Repent and believe. Doesn't matter if you grew up in church. Who cares what anybody thinks about you?
42:45 Even if your family's here, even if your friends are here, and they thought that you were this Christian, who cares? You know if the Holy Spirit has spoken to you tonight. You know in your heart that you have not yet fully surrendered. You've been flirting with the idea. You've been moving closer and closer.
43:00 You're drawn by this Jesus, but but Christ wants to give himself to you. Christ is waiting for you to give him your yes. And he will flood in your heart, and you will receive this revelation of who he is in such a way that it would leave you almost breathless. Turn to him. Turn to him tonight.
43:28 Turn to him in faith. Turn to him in realizing his love. Turn to him in realizing his majesty. Turn to him in realizing his authority, And all you need to do, all you need to do is understand that the moment you say yes, this wonderful, beautiful, matchless God man, as holy and as transcendent as he is, will be the lover of your soul. And he will walk with you day by day.
44:02 And he will whisper through his Word, this is the way you should walk, walk in it. And you will live the rest of your life discovering greater glories of this Christ. And whatever you discover will not even come close to the moment where you will see him face to face. And when you see him face to face, no matter what your temperament is in this life, and I respect that every person has a different way of expressing things, but I am convinced that when you see him and when we behold him, I'm sure that we will be gasping for air. And I'm sure that we will spend an eternity of eternities looking at one another and saying, He is more lovely than I thought.
44:54 He is more wonderful than whatever any preacher could proclaim. He is worthy of every song that I could ever sing. And no matter how clear your vision is of him tonight, even you believer, we see through a mirror dimly. And there will be a moment in which that veil will be removed. Oh, and it will be so brilliant.
45:30 It will be so breathtaking that Christ in his wisdom says you need a new body to be able to contain my glory. For I consider the sufferings of this present time a light momentary affliction compared to the glory that awaits. Who is he to you? Is he altogether lovely? Who is he to you?
46:04 How would you speak of him? If somebody were to ask you, Who is Jesus to you? Believer, non believer, hear this. If somebody were to ask you, Who is this Jesus to you? How would you respond?
46:16 Have you lost your pursuit after his glories? Have you failed to realize that there are greater depths to who he is that awaits your energy and time and effort to discover? Have you, have you failed? Have you failed in this? Have you failed to realize that there is a Holy Spirit that wants to come because he is excited to do one thing, and that's glorify this Christ.
46:47 To reveal to you things of him that you have never seen before. Or are you so dull of heart? Are you so calloused in your soul that you will just receive this salvation and walk where you want to walk, and look at what you want to look at, and speak what you want to speak, and turn where you want to turn, just knowing that you have Heaven. When Christ invites you to behold his glory in such a way that as you behold him, you will become like him, I want us to do one thing as we close. This isn't planned, but we'll do it anyway.
47:46 In a moment, we're gonna worship him, but I want us to worship him in song, with a specific song, without the instruments, without even the worship team coming up here. I want us to do one thing. In light of everything that we just heard in scripture, to declare how holy he is. Holy means set apart. And there's a beautiful hymn, holy, holy, holy.
48:09 And there's one part of this hymn that I believe fits perfectly with the understanding of the supremacy of Christ. Holy, holy, holy, though the darkness hide thee, though the eye of sinful man, thy glory may not see. Here it is, only thou art holy. There is none beside thee, Perfect and power, love, and purity. Let's see where the Lord will take us tonight.
48:47 Stand with me as we sing this hymn. No music, maybe before the worship team comes up to lead us in song and as we respond to this message. Right now, I would encourage you just to keep your eyes on Christ. Just to keep your eyes on Jesus Christ. And you've heard what this word declares of his majesty.
49:14 Would you give him your praise tonight? Would you would you look to him and sing to him tonight? Only thou art holy. There is none besides thee. Lord, you're perfect.
49:33 Lord Jesus, you're perfect. You're perfect in power. You're perfect in love. You're perfect in purity. You're perfect in patience.
