• Audit the voices in your ears this week. That podcast host may be witty, that commentator may receive the wider applause — but can you trace their claims back to Scripture? Demons use mouths, and they prefer eloquent ones. Before you absorb another hour of someone's opinions, spend that hour in the Bible and see if their words survive the comparison.
• Stop settling for 'I just don't know' on matters the Bible addresses plainly. Paul said, 'I do not want you to be unaware.' God has given answers about Israel, about the end times, about His covenant promises. Do the work. Open Genesis 15, Romans 9–11, Zechariah 12–14. Come to your convictions from the text, not from the trending takes of the moment.
• Make the return of Christ a regular, conscious thought — not an uninterrupted obsession, but a daily anchor. When the news overwhelms you, when your morning is chaos, when the bills stack up, let this truth surface: He is coming back, and He will clean up every last bit of this mess. That is not escapism; it is the sanity that only eternity can give.
• If you are a spectator in the church — showing up, absorbing, leaving unchanged — hear the alarm: Christ did not save you to sit in the stands. Epaphroditus was so selfless he was distressed that other Christians were worried about him. Ask God to kill the spectator in you and raise up a servant. Volunteer. Pray. Carry someone's burden this week without being asked.
• If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, stop treating that decision like something you will get around to. The bowls are not metaphors for vague future trouble — they are the detailed itinerary of a world racing toward judgment. Christ died a real death and absorbed real wrath so you would not have to. Give Him your heart today. Not tomorrow. Today.
