There are two suppers at the end of history: the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and the Great Supper of God. One is a feast of joy for the redeemed; the other is a feast of judgment where the enemies of Christ become food for vultures. Practical ways to apply this message to your life.

Stop editing Jesus to make Him palatable. The world takes the comforting half of God's promises and discards the half that demands surrender. Ask yourself honestly: have I done the same? Have I embraced the Jesus who comforts but ignored the Jesus who judges? Read the whole verse. Bow to the whole King.
If you are a parent with a wayward child, a spouse in a crumbling marriage, or a soul so crushed by trial that the return of Christ feels like a distant theological idea — cry out to Him today. He is not only the King of the cosmos; He is the Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine. Your pain is not invisible to Him.
Examine which supper you are preparing for. The bride made herself ready — that is Revelation 19:7. Readiness is not passive. It is active repentance, active faith, active obedience. Are you getting dressed for the wedding, or are you living as though no invitation was ever sent?
Let the reality of Christ's return reshape how you live this week. Not in anxious dread, but in joyful urgency. The bride who loves the Groom does not dread His arrival — she longs for it. If the thought of His coming fills you with fear rather than hope, something needs to be settled between you and Him.
When the world offers you its counterfeit peace — peace through politics, peace through prosperity, peace through distraction — remember: there is no lasting peace without the Prince of Peace on His throne. Anchor your hope there, not in the resolutions of men.
