That is the warning light of Proverbs 28:4. Get back into the Word. Read it daily. Let it recalibrate your discernment before you find yourself praising a Tobiah and opposing a Nehemiah.
• If you serve in any capacity at your church, refuse autopilot. Paul told Timothy to immerse himself in his calling and let everyone see his progress. Ask yourself: am I giving the bare minimum, or do I have a mind to work? Excellence in service is not perfectionism — it is love made visible. Sharpen your gift. Study. Prepare. The people you serve deserve more than your leftovers.
