1 John 2:15-23 | The Spirit of The Antichrist | Pastor Daniel Banna

The title of my message today is the spirit of the antichrist. I will be looking at more scriptures than usual, because the subject, I believe, demands it. But the main, scripture what we'll be looking at is first John chapter two beginning in verse 15. If you turn with me, please, first John chapter two. And, again, I'll be reading from verse 15.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life is not from the father, but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of god abides forever. Children, it is the last hour.

And as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrist have come. Therefore, we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would have continued with us, but they went out that it might become plain that they are all or not of us, but you have anointed that you have been anointed by the holy one and you all have knowledge. I write to you not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it and because no lie is of the truth.

Who is a liar, but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist. He who denies the father and the son. No one who denies the son has the father. Whoever confesses the son has the father also.

Lord, we have come before you this afternoon to confess the son of Jesus Christ as the only one begotten of the father. He is God incarnate. We have come to worship him in the Holy Spirit. Amen. In verse 18, John introduces us to the word antichrist, and he mentions this word three times in the verses we read, twice in verse 18 and once in verse 22.

In fact, it's total five times John mentions the word antichrist in his letters. The word antichrist means two things. The first, it means against Christ, but also means in place of Christ. John begins in verse 15 by warning his Christian readers, by warning all of us as he prepares to introduce to us the antichrist. He warns us of two things.

The first, not to love the world, and the second thing, not to love the things that are in the world. Now it's clear that John is not speaking of the universe or the cosmos or or or the world, the people, because God has loved the world. He has given his only begotten son to save the world, but he's talking about the world system, the world ideology, the things that are in the world that try to steal our hearts, our and and and our devotion. He's warning us from these things, and he's telling us not to love these things, not to get attached to these things. Love instead God.

Love instead God's people. Love instead the church. Love instead the truth, righteousness, justice. In chapter five, John of the same of of the same epistle verse 19. John tells us these things.

He says, we know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one that is Satan. The whole world system lies in the power of Satan. He is the god of this world. He is the prince of the power of the air as we read in in Ephesians, chapter two verse one and two. Paul still us, and you were he's talking to all of us.

You were dead in trespasses and sins in which you once walked, and the word walk in a scripture mean you you that mean you have lived in, you have practiced, in which you are once walked following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience. Paul makes clear distinction between how we were in times past and how we are now in Christ Jesus. We were, but now we are. We were in the world, haters of God. Now we are in Christ Jesus, lovers of the truth.

And listen what to how Paul describes the unregenerate, how Paul describes the unbelievers. He calls them sons of disobedience, And he says the spirit of Satan is at work now in them. Now this is harsh, but it's the truth. He calls them sons of disobedience, and the spirit of Satan works in them. Let us not be surprised then, brothers and sisters, when we see the works of the devil evident in their lives.

Don't be so surprised because this is what scripture tells us. They are, according to Paul's words, followers of Satan. That's what we are told whom Paul describes here as what? As a prince. He's the prince of the power of the air.

He's a prince with real power. He's a prince with real authority given to him by God. Authority over the sons of disobedience. Authority over the unbelievers, not authority over you. He has no authority over you.

If Christ has authority over you, Satan has no authority over you, but he has authority over the unregenerate world. Demons under Satan. He is called the prince of demons. In Ephesians six twelve, we read, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, and often we are misguided. Often we think, oh, our fight is with the government.

Our fight is against what people know. The Bible tells us we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over the prison darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. These are ranks of demons that Paul is talking about under Satan's dominion, under Satan's control, and they obey his commands. Satan's and his demons are behind every evil deed in this world, and there is no lack of it as all of us witness. The direct they direct the whole world system, The unregenerate people knowingly and unknowingly, they do the work and they fulfill the plan of Satan.

That's a fact. God is warning the believer. He's warning us not to love this world nor anything in this world for there is nothing in it that glorifies God. James tells us that the friendship of the world is enmity with God, and whoever wants to be a friend of the world, he makes himself enemy with God. Why?

Because befriending the world means befriending the ruler and the master and the prince of this world. Do not love the world. And and and James is telling that, and John is telling that. Why? To prepare us to what he's going to tell us next.

And this is next, verse 18. Children, John tells us, it is the last hour backed into, the epistle of John. Children, it is the last hour. He has warned us already of the world. Now he tell us, children, it is the last hour.

As you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrist has come have come. Therefore, we know that it is the last hour. John has prepared us already. He told us that the world we live in is under the power of the evil one. It is sinful.

It is so evil. Satan is the prince and the ruler of it. Now he says this world is approaching the end. It is the last hour. It is the last hour of the last day.

He tells his readers, you have heard that antichrist is coming. My partner, Paul, the apostle Paul, has already told you. He has thought about it in every church. He has written about it, and now I want to confirm again what Paul has told you because of the urgency of the matter, because the importance of the matter, I'm gonna talk about it again and again. It is the last hour.

And if this subject was of such importance to the church in apostolic times, if this subject was of such important two thousand years ago, how much more do you think it is important today? And if then it was the last hour, do you think it's wrong to say that we are now in the last minutes of the last hour? The clock is ticking. We are in the last minutes of the last hour. Now how do we know that we are in the last minute of the last hours?

John gives us the answer. Let's read. And as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore, here is the answer. Therefore, we know that it is the last hour.

Now John makes a distinction between the many antichrists who have already were present in John days and the one antichrist, the antichrist who is still to come. Let me say this. There are today many, many, many anti Christ that we like we have never seen before. These are not just crazy men and crazy women who claim they are the Christ, And there are many of those, by the way. And if you read the history of the church, many have come in the past and claimed we are the Christ and all have perished.

But it's not what he's talking about here. It's it's a word that has a much wider use. These are men and women who act in the spirit of the antichrist, preaching an antichrist message and in place of Christ's message. Everything else but Christ. I believe we are at at a time in history that we that there was no parallel.

We are approaching the end. In verse 19, John digs deeper into the manifestations of the antichrist and the spirit of the antichrist and the signs of the last hour, of the last day. And the first sign is this, apostasy. Leaving the faith, abandoning the biblical truths once confessed. That's the first sign.

Verse 19. They went from us, but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would have continued with us, but they went out that it might be complained that they all are not of us. John says they went from us. They were churchgoers.

They were church members. Some were ordinary Christians. Others were well known preachers. They went from us. Once preached what seemed to be a very sound gospel, but now they are the enemies of the cross of Jesus.

Teaching the doctrines of demons. I no longer believe this is today a common phrase. He's an ex evangelical. You've heard it. I've heard it.

I hear it so often. That's the sign of the last day. Apostasy. Turning from the faith, whence confessed. How sad.

But there's nothing unexpected because being we are being foretold that this was going to happen is going to increase more and more antichrists against Christ and instead of Christ. Paul in regular Timothy, he tells him some some of those have made shipwreck of their lives of their faith. But the degree in which we see this departure from faith today, this is one of the major and first signs of the last days and the spirit of the antichrist. And apostasy always begins, always starts with that very old question in Genesis three one, did God actually say remember that question that was posed to Eve? Did God actually say?

This is the beginning of apostasy, any doubt of any part of God's word. Disregard to clear New Testament teaching. There is a wave. There is a wave of rejection of God's order as we read in the epistles, making it irrelevant to the church of the of the 20 century. Have you read the news?

Have you seen the state of the church today? There's a wave of rejection of God's order. It does not apply to us today. It applies only to the first century church. Oh, no.

It does apply to us today, and all it will always apply to every church everywhere at any time. Listen carefully. One compromise will lead always to another until it reaches a full blown departure from god's truth. Be aware. Be careful of these little compromises.

Be careful of it. Reject it. Let us see what comes next. Verse 21. I write to you not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it and because no lie is of the truth.

Who is the liar but the who but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ. This is the antichrist, he who denies the father and the son. This is the next sign of the spirit of the antichrist and the last hour. It's a lying spirit. It is a lying spirit.

Now listen. This is not just a departure from faith once confessed. To to to depart from faith and to remain quiet is one thing, but here we see the next step, a lying spirit. It's a spirit that twists every truth. In first at first Kings 22, chapter 22, we see one of the worst kings of Israel, wicked king king Ahab.

He was going to war against Syria, and, he called king Jehoshaphat of Judah to join him in war. Now king Jehoshaphat was a righteous man, a godly man, yet this godly man agreed to align himself with the wicked king of Israel, king Ahab. Now king Ahab again was going to war against Syria, and he sought the advice of his prophets, the the the prophecies of his prophets. Shall he go to war or not? Will he win the war?

And he brought 400 of those prophets. And he asked him, and all of them with one voice told him, go to war. You will win the war. You will destroy your enemies. Jehoshaphat was not very comfortable with this advice, And he asked, is there one more prophet?

I said, yes. Yes. Yes. I have said there is one prophet. He was a true prophet of God.

His name was Michayahu. But Ahab said, I hate this man. I hate this man. This is the exact words of Ahab. He said, but I hate him for he never prophesies good concerning me, but evil.

I want to hear always the good news. I am right. I am wrong. It doesn't matter. Encourage me.

Support me. Tell me I'm fine like some preachers do today on the pulpits. Encourage the crowd. Tell them you are good. Anyway, under the advice of king Jehoshaphat, this man, this true prophet of God was brought in.

And listen to what God has spoken through this true prophet of God. And that's in first Kings 22 beginning in verse 19. I want to read exact words. And Micaiah said, therefore, hear the word of the Lord. I saw the Lord sitting on his throne and all the host of heaven standing beside him on his right hand and on his left.

And the Lord said, who will entice Ahab that he may go up and fall at remote Gilead? And one said one thing and another said another. Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord saying, I will entice him. And the Lord said to him, by what means? And he said, I will go out and will be allying his spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.

And he said, you are to entice him, and you shall succeed. Go out and do so. Now, therefore, behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets. The Lord has declared disaster for you. You see, when someone refuses the truth, when someone hates the truth, they will believe a lie.

And they when and when they believe a lie, they will speak a lie, believing, perceiving is the truth. When you stand for life or for any just cause by an abortion clinic and you see this hatred, this animosity, vulgar words, people speaking things, you know what happens then? People hated the truth. Now they are speaking lies perceiving they are speaking the truth. This is enticing.

This is deceptive spirit. This is the spirit of the antichrist, a lying spirit. This spirit has no boundaries. Does that stop at rejecting the truth? But at every opportunity will attack the whole moral teachings of the Lord Jesus and the authority of scripture.

This spirit is a spirit of the antichrist, makes every wrong right and every right wrong. It boasts in what Paul calls in Roman one twenty six, the unnatural things. You can go to Romans one later and and and and and read it and find out what Paul means there, what is against nature. They boast in what is against nature. Blessing of homosexual marriages, complete confusion about gender identity.

When you reach this degree of the braved mind, the debased mind, this foolish thinking, you know we are at the last days. You know we are in the last stage. When you see the shameful flag hanging by a so called church, you know this is an apostated church, and we are in the last days. And this is the spirit of the antichrist working in them and through them. This is a sign of the soon coming judgment of God.

Now listen to this. The spirit of the antichrist is a spirit that condemns the just and the victim and glorifies the act of the wicked, and you have seen this in your own eyes recently. It overlooks sheer evil and praises terror is the spirit of the antichrist. It's a spirit of anti Christian, it's a spirit of antisemitism, the spirit of anti life, of anti truth, in the spirit of confusion, havoc, disorder, and every evil deed. No other than Satan and his demons are behind all this confusion and all this evil.

This is a spirit of death. A spirit that calls for destruction of Israel. A spirit that calls for the destruction of the whole ethnic people. There's a spirit of death. There's a spirit of the antichrist.

People are not demonstrating against a government which should be very legitimate, but people are calling for the eradication of a whole race. This is the spirit of death, the spirit of the antichrist. We must say that, or we must say it loudly without fear. In In the book of Daniel chapter 10, we read of an event, a war that took place almost two thousand six hundred years ago. Daniel describes a war between Michael the Archangel, who is called by the way there the Prince of Israel.

That's very interesting name. He's called the prince of Israel. I believe there is a a meaning behind that. I believe this has this has to do with something that he's doing, some of his responsibility and duty to protect Israel somehow on some level. He was at war with another prince in the heavenlies, and what was the prince of Persia who was one of Satan's chief demons.

We must understand this, brothers and sisters. As events play here on earth, there is corresponding activity in the heavenly realm. And I think the old chief demon, the prince of Persia of or Iran is still very active today. It is Iran that does not hide her evil intentions to obliterate the nation of Israel. The chief demon still at work, and with him, many others who seek the destruction of a whole of a whole nation, of a whole people.

Satan has throughout history sought the destruction of the Jewish people. It began from a time of pharaoh when he tried to destroy all the Jewish males and even before that, going forward to Haman at the time of Easter, and it can go on and on and on and on to our own day. He has succeeded in killing in killing millions through human agents, but he could never and he will never be able to destroy this chosen race because God has decreed so. For God has a plan for them, and his plan must come to completion. I know.

I know. Because of my background, some might be criticizing me. How can a Palestinian be saying these things? I'll tell you how. I tell you how.

You see, the problem is this. We put our emotions and our feelings first. We look at images. We watch media outlets that we like. We hear one-sided story.

We block our mind. We disregard our faculties of reason. We ignore the truth. We ignore history. And like sheep, we follow the crowd.

I refuse to do so. I refuse to do so. God has given me mind to think, a brain to reason, and much more than that, a new heart, a new spirit. And as a new creation, I believe what I believe. And I believe that the promises of God, as much as they are unchanging for me, they are unchanging also towards Israel.

Because if God will abandon his promises to Israel, he will abandon his promises for me too, and God forbid that he would do that. God promises are eternal. For the gifts and the calling of God, as a script tells me, are irrevocable. Do you believe that? And if you don't believe that, maybe it's good time for you to examine if you are in the faith or not.

In Revelation 12, we have another war in heaven. John sees a similar war between between Michael and between, a red dragon. And, and he he saw first a woman who is about to give birth to a child, a male child, and we understand that the male child there is the lord Jesus, and the woman is Israel. And then John sees that great dragon standing in front of the woman ready to devour her child. That took place at the time of Christ's birth.

And then he sees the woman flying. She she fled the wilderness, and she said she will be taken care of for three and a half years. Then war broke in heaven between Michael the archangel and his angels and the dragon and his angels. This is still a future event will take place during the great tribulation. But what John sees next is very, very important.

I want you to pay attention to the dragon and his angels were defeated by Michael and his angels. He was kicked out of heaven and thrown down to earth with his angels. What would he do? What Satan, what the dragon would do first after he's thrown down to earth. What's his first task?

Verse 13. Verse listen what he says. And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The first thing, pursue the Jewish people, persecute him and kill him. First thing.

Verse 17. Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold the testimony of Jesus, and he stood on the sand of the sea. Then he declares war against the messianic Jews who believe in the lord Jesus Christ. Now, again, this event's still still future, but the spirit behind them has been at work for thousands of years, and it's very, very active today. This is the spirit of the antichrist.

It's the spirit of death. Let's go to verse 22, continue reading in our epistle of John. Who is the liar, but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the father and the son. The spirit of the antichrist is a spirit that denies who Jesus is.

First, it denies that Jesus is the Christ. What that really means, that is it's a spirit that denies that Jesus is the anointed one of God. It denies that he is the promised one. It denies that he is the Messiah. It denies that he is the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

The spirit denies that he is a solution. Christ is a solution for man's problems. The only sacrifice for sinners. The only way to God an eternal life, the spirit that denies all of this is a spirit that comes with a thousand solutions other than Christ. False religions, false hopes, humanism, socialism, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, any other solution but Christ.

Our hope is not in government, in parties, in any of this stuff, it's in Christ Jesus. Marxism has failed miserably miserably everywhere it was tried. Yet in many of our elite universities, it's taken root. Can you believe that? Can you believe that?

Islam. Just look around you and see. Yet millions continue to believe that Islam is a solution for world peace, for prosperity, for advancement. You see how the god of this world has blinded the eyes of these people? What about rabbinical Judaism?

What about it? Do you know what rabbis teach regarding Jesus is? You might think, oh, I'm sure they look at him as a great teacher. He's a wonderful prophet of God, but but but but but not but not the son of God, not not God incarnate. No.

No. No. No. This is not what the rabbis believe. It's not rabbinical Judaism.

They believe Jesus is an imposter. He's a false prophet. This is what they believe. In fact, his most his most beautiful name, Jesus, Yeshua, they have corrupted. I might have said that before.

They call him Yeshu. There's a herb the Hebrew word for it. Instead of Yeshua, it became Yeshu. What Yeshu means? It stands for three Hebrew words, Yud, Shein, and Vav Yeshu, which is stands for that his name and memory be wiped out.

That's what they call him. Why? Because Jesus means savior or god saves. Oh, they hate that word. Oh, they hate that word.

It is the spirit of the antichrist. Works through all false religions. All false religions. People people might and do blaspheme the name of Jesus, but his name will ever be the name every above every above every name. Call him whatever you may today today, whoever you are, wherever you are, but just remember this.

Remember this, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is lord to the glory of god the father. Call him whatever you may. He will remain God and Lord and savior forever and ever. And, yes, every knee shall bow at the name of Jesus. Do you believe that?

The spirit of the antichrist not just denies that Jesus is the Messiah, but also John says, this is the antichrist who denies the father and the son. That is, it is the spirit that denies the incarnation of God in the person of the lord Jesus Christ. It denies the divinity of Christ. It denies the trinity. God is a triune God.

Spirit that denies all of that. It's a spirit that has no problem acknowledging Jesus as a great prophet, but not God's only son. In the fourth chapter of the same epistle beginning in verse one, listen to what John says. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this, you know, the spirit of God.

Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. John warns us first not to believe every spirit. In other words, not to rush to say amen to all what you hear even from preachers.

I think I think there's an epidemic among Christians today. You know? I think Christians can be very gullible too. You know that? They can be gullible.

We just we just believe. He he's a preacher. He he's a he's affiliated with the church. He's he's a famous person. We just I mean, hallelujah.

Praise the lord. No. The Bible clearly says test what? Every spirit, and I expect it from you right now as I preach the word of God to test my words. This word tests us, but you test me.

How? Through the scripture. Through the scripture. I don't want anyone to believe me for what I say, but do I say what the Bible says or not? Christ has promised in John 16 verse 13, he said when the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.

This promise is not to select a few, but to all of us. But, again, let us not assume someone speaking the truth until he proves to you he's speaking the truth when you test him to think his word and see if it is truly according to the word of god. And this is so crucial. This is so important. Believe me, brothers and sisters, 11% of corrupt doctrine can be so damning.

1% enough to classify someone as a false heretic. 1%. So be careful of this 1%. A little leaven leavens the whole the whole lump. Then John repeats what he told his readers in chapter two.

He said, you heard and you know that the antichrist was coming, and his spirit is already at work in the world today. You heard and you know. You see, you need to hear these things. You need to study these things. You need to listen to these things.

You need to know these things. Lack of biblical knowledge is your worst enemy. Lack of biblical knowledge is our worst enemy. We need to know the truth. The truth alone can set you free, and the truth alone can protect you from wolves in sheepskin.

The church was familiar with Paul's writings on this matter. He spoke of it in second Thessalonians chapter two verse one to 11, and it's important passage to look at. So I want to just read this passage what Paul wrote there in second Thessalonians two one to 11 and just make very, very brief comments. Listen to the words of Paul, which is the word of the Holy Spirit for us today. Now concerning the coming of our lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you brothers not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed either by spirit or a spoken word or a letter seemingly from us to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

Some clearly have preached at the time of Paul and even sent some fake letters in the North Paul in the name of Paul saying that the day of Christ has come, the day of the Lord has come. Paul told us that the Thessalonians don't believe such trash. Some things must happen first. What is it? Verse three.

Let no one deceive you in any way, for that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. Paul says two things must happen before the coming of that great day of the Lord. What are these two things? Two things. Number one is the rebellion.

Secondly is the revelation of the lawless one, the man of sin, the antichrist. Now what is the rebellion Paul is talking about? He's not talking about a rebellion, no, but the rebellion. The Greek word here is. And if you have a King James, I believe the translation is the apostasy, the falling away.

This is a universal rejection of God's truth within Christendom, within the professing church, not at the outside, but within. Throughout church history, we have seen degrees of apostasy, but these days are marked with the apostasy, their rebellion. And I believe we are standing in the first steps and watching with our own eyes what Paul is talking about, the apostasy. Verse four, he continues to say, who opposes and exalt himself against every so called god or object of worship so that he takes his seat in the temple of god, proclaiming himself to be god, the temple will be rebuilt? Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things?

You see, Paul preached these truths many times, and now he's writing to them this truth that they cannot be ever forgotten to generations to come. Verse six. And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time? Verse seven. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work.

Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. Paul says, the lawless one, the man of sin, the antichrist, has not come yet and cannot come yet for a reason. But the mystery of lawlessness or inequity is already at work. It is here. It's here.

It's working. These are the forces that would bring the antichrist to power, working in secret to establish his unholy kingdom. It's working right now in secret to do all of that. They are restrained right now, Paul tells us, by the holy spirit. They are restrained by the holy spirit and the true church.

But once the restrainer is removed with the rapture, I believe, you will see a worldwide revolt against the almighty. The mystery of lawlessness culminates in the appearance of the antichrist who will claim to be God, he who and who will demand worship, and the whole world will marvel at him and worship him and say who is like the beast as we see and as we read in the book of Revelation. Verse eight, he continues to say, and then the lawless one will be revealed, Whom the lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and full signs and wonders and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion so that they may believe what is false in order to all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Two words we read and we need to pay attention to in verse 11 as we almost concluding. Wicked deception, strong delusion. Do you see these two things? Wicked deception, strong delusions. In our universities?

Yes or no? Everywhere. In the media? Among the intellectuals? Wow.

They are the intellectuals. Delusion, deception among the politicians, in the streets. This is the spirit of the antichrist, a spirit of deception, a spirit of delusion. And let me end with this last scripture, first Timothy four one. Now the spirit, that's the Holy Spirit, expressly says that in later times, some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to what?

To deceitful spirits and teachings of demons. Let me repeat it. Now the spirit expressly says that in later times, I believe the we are in these later times. Some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons. Did you notice the word devoting?

It's a devotion. Devotion to demonic teaching. Devotion to deceitful spirits. A commitment that's not shallow belief. No.

No. No. It's a true commitment, true devotion to demonic teaching. You see that in our universities. You see that in the streets, that evil, that's devotion to Satan and his work, to his teachings, to his agendas.

You see it everywhere. I pray I pray that God would raise from us men and women who'd have the same level of conviction and devotion to the Holy Spirit and to his word, to his eternal word, and to his truth. People of God who would remain faithful. People of God who will be always on their own look looking and to see what's going on in this world, aware of their surroundings. They can see the signs of the times.

They can see that we are in the last days, and we get we should be getting prepared day by day for that wonderful day when Christ shall come, and we shall be forever and ever with him. Amen? Let's pray. Our God and savior, We thank you for your word, for your eternal word. We know that the truth can be found only in you.

You are the truth. Your word is the truth, the truth that set us free. Oh, we are free indeed because of your truth. Our minds have changed. Our hearts have changed.

We are new creation. We think differently. We reason differently. We thank you for the spirit that lives within us, a spirit of truth, a spirit that declares every day that Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus is the son of God.

Jesus is the only savior of the world. A spirit that warns us of the spirit of the antichrist, a spirit that guide us into all truth, a spirit that survives our heart every day to worship a living God and a mighty God. Lord, we pray that your people here will remain faithful. I pray, God, you'll give us the understanding needed in this day to confront evil with good, to show the people the love of God, to warn people of the days to come, the days of judgment. Lord, we know you're coming soon, and we are waiting for that day.

Waiting for that day to deliver your people, to save your people. But, lord, we long long to see our friends, our families to be with us, lord. Lord, we don't want to go there without them. All of us, God, we have loved ones who are still in this world, devotees to this world, lovers of this world and the things which are in the world. God, we pray for them.

We pray for their salvation. We pray that the spirit of God even now will bring them to the knowledge of Christ, would enlighten their hearts to see their miserable condition and terrible future to come, and they come to the foot of the cross. Come to you. Come to you, savior and lord, to spare them from the judgment to come. Lord, we give you the glory.

We give you the honor. We give you the praise, Lord Jesus, from now and forevermore. Amen. Let's stand up to worship our lord together.
